Mathew Peck was a Bachelor of Pharmacy student at the Victorian College of Pharmacy, Monash University, between his first and second years of study who passed away tragically in an accident whilst travelling in South America in January 2003. The scholarship was established in 2003 by the Victorian College of Pharmacy to honour Mathew’s life and to continue his ideals and commitment to international health issues.
The annual scholarship enables a Bachelor of Pharmacy student at the college to travel overseas to assist on an international aide program.
The scholarship is partly funded by the Victorian College of Pharmacy, who have made a committment of $3,000 per year for 5 years to ensure its success.
